Marsha has a wide-ranging professional footprint that includes working in academic research, working in partnership with state and federal agencies such as the CDC, working for the state department of Health, and working in Research and Development in Australia. The common thread among these varied disciplines and regions was building successful collaborative partnerships to create a meaningful impact on target communities.

Marsha received her academic training in Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Miami School of Medicine. In addition, she spent time working in and around the Jackson Health System, a premier organization for the best in public health training. Marsha is an integral member of the Jamaica Diaspora Health Taskforce and serves on the Public Health Surveillance  & Infectious Diseases Subcommittee as vice-chair.

The Jamaica Diaspora Taskforce Action Network (JDTAN) is a network of  Diaspora Taskforces with members across 40+ countries. Taskforces engage, and mobilize the Diaspora to join forces and support Jamaica. To get engaged go to joinataskforce.jdtan.org
